MEASURE FROM EDGE TO EDGE

CHEST WIDTH

LAY IT FLAT

Place the fully buttoned shirt flat on a table with the front side facing up, and arrange the arms in an upward direction.

MEASURE ACROSS

Measure from the bottommost part of the left armhole to the corresponding point on the right.

SHOULDER WIDTH

LAY IT FLAT

Position the fully buttoned shirt with its front side down on a table, and allow the arms to hang naturally in a downward direction.

MEASURE ACROSS

Measure from the junction of the left armhole seam with the shoulder seam to the corresponding point on the right side.

WAIST WIDTH

LAY IT FLAT

Place the fully buttoned shirt with its front side up on a table, and let the arms naturally hang downward.

MEASURE FROM THE TOP SHOULDER

Starting from the uppermost part of the shoulder crease, mark a point 48cm/19in downward and take note of this position.

MEASURE ACROSS

Measure the width between the left and right edges at the point 48cm/19in from the top.

BACK LENGTH

LAY IT FLAT

Place the fully buttoned shirt with its front side down on a table and fold up the collar.

TOP TO BOTTOM

Measure from the midpoint of the collar base, where the back and collar seams converge, to the hem's edge.

SLEEVE LENGTH

LAY IT FLAT

Place the fully buttoned shirt with its front side facing up on a table and let the arms hang naturally in a downward direction.

STRETCH OUT

Straighten the sleeve to its natural position.

SHOULDER TO CUFF

Starting where the armhole and shoulder seams meet, measure to the end of the cuff.

IMPORTANT

MEASURE ACROSS

Starting from the jacket's left edge, measure across at the middle point just below the first button.

MEASURE ACROSS

Starting from the left side where the armhole meets the shoulder fold, measure across to the same point on the right side.

SLEEVE LENGTH

Lay your buttoned jacket flat on a table facing up, with the collar down and arms straight. Smooth out the fabric.

SHOULDER TO CUFF

Starting from the top of the armhole (middle of the shoulder), measure straight down the middle of the sleeve to the edge.

JACKET LENGTH

Place your buttoned jacket flat on a table face down with the arms down. Smooth out any extra fabric.

COLLAR TO HEM

Starting at the center of the collar base (where the back seam meets the collar), measure down to the bottom hemline.

MEASURE ACROSS

Starting from the edge of the waistband, measure down to the 1cm/0.5in point. Remember this point.

Begin at the left edge, measuring the waistband at the 1cm point noted earlier. Hold at the center of this point, and continue measuring to the other side, following the natural curve of the waistband.
